Travis is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) specializing in Experiential, Person-Centered, and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) coupled with evidence-based tools for children ages 7 years and up, teens, and adults. He earned his degree from Loras College in 2014 with a Master's in Clinical Counseling.

You can meet with him in-person at the Calmly Centered office or via telehealth within the state of Illinois.

Why Travis Does What He Does

"Lifting people up is the biggest thrill in my life. I spent a few years in sales after receiving my Masters Degree in Clinical Counseling, but I came back to practicing therapy because I truly know this is what I was meant to do and is what gives me purpose."

How He Creates A Healing Space

"I don’t expect trust on day one. You can show up unsure, guarded, skeptical, or not even knowing where to start. My goal is to make therapy feel like a real conversation, without judgment or pressure to be anywhere other than where you are.

I want clients to feel understood, but I also believe authenticity means being willing to challenge each other when it matters. I hope to build a relationship where there is enough trust for honesty, humor, difficult conversations, and real growth."
