Karli is Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) specializing in culturally-competent and evidence-based treatment of anxiety disorders, mood disorders, adjustment concerns, and trauma-related disorders. Additionally, she has a background in sex therapy, trauma-informed care for children, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She graduated from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

“I love helping people in the way they need to be helped and meeting people where they are at with a non-judgemental approach. When our lives become difficult, it can cause us to feel disconnected from those around us and our intrapersonal sense of being. We can feel alone and without power over many aspects of our lives. When this happens, finding a connection can be scary, but also as simple as reaching out.

By working together, I can help my clients find the best way to overcome their circumstances, achieve their goals, and create a life that they can enjoy. It's an honor to have a client choose me as their therapist and to aid them in this journey to wellness.”

Her Approach to Therapy

“It is an honor and a privilege to work with each client under my care. I always meet the client where they are at and provide a non-judgmental space where I can cheer for and support them in whatever way necessary for their personal growth and development.

The therapeutic journey is led by my clients. I help them build a foundation to support and obtain their journey to wellness. As an eclectic therapist, I pick whatever modalities fit best for them. I do love to incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy into most sessions to help clients connect how their thoughts affect their feelings, which then affect their actions.”

“I facilitate healing by understanding the areas where my client feels they need to heal. Focusing on an interpersonal approach, I hold the firm belief that the therapeutic relationship is the most healing aspect and driving force of change within therapy. I recognize that there is no ‘one size fits all,’ so I pick or combine modalities that best align with the client's concerns and goals.”
